The Italian Chamber of Commerce – Egypt in cooperation with the Egyptian Customs Authority and the Egyptian Company for Electronic Commerce Technology "MTS", had the honour of organizing the Online Webinar about “ the pre-registration system for shipments (ACI) “ on 5^th of May 2021 . Within the framework of the experimental application of the “ pre-registration system for shipments (ACI) which began last April , and will be compulsorily applied in the beginning of July the CCI has positively evaluated the organization of an online webinar dedicated to the Egyptians companies regarding the application of the new system.

Our guests, Mr. Khaled Nassif: Technology Consultant at MTS Company, Mr. Walid Hussein: Director General of the Technical Office at the Head of the Customs Authority and Eng. Ahmed el Ruby: ACI project manager. The webinar was focused on the System procedures and about the steps to be taken by both the importer and the exporter. Our guests have explained the role of “the Single window“ regarding  accepting or rejecting shipments with explanation of reasons. They clarified which will be required from the commercial and industrial community to activate the ACI system.

The webinar was presented through detailed presentation and followed by questions and interventions from the participating Egyptians companies.
