The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Egypt participated in the event success by organizing an Egyptian Delegation of Buyers and Visitors, in cooperation with the Engineering Export Council, Alexandria Business Association, Chamber of Chemical Industries and Alexandria Chamber of Commerce.

Ecomondo’s mission in 2022 is to guide ecological transition since it’s one of the most important international events in the world in green and circular economy. The four pillars of Ecomondo 2022 are the following: : 1 management and valorisation of waste and its transformation into a second raw material; 2 circular bio-economy and bio-energy; 3 treatment and management of water resources; 4 reclamation and redevelopment of contaminated and disused industrial sites and hydro-geological risk. From large machinery for metal recovery to digital control solutions for distributing water; from technologies for regenerating soil and degraded industrial sites to 3D printers powered by bioplastics.

CCI-Egypt, in cooperation with four of the most important official entities in Egypt, organized an Egyptian Business Mission to visit the 25^th edition of Ecomondo and the 15^th edition of Key Energy ( 8-11) November in Rimini-Italy.

CCI-Egypt would like to thank the Engineering Export Council for its participation through a business delegation of 6 Egyptian companies in various engineering sectors to enhance new prospects of economic cooperation and to increase knowledge, technology and trade exchange between Egypt and Italy in engineering industries.

We would thank the Executive Director of the Engineering Export Council, May Helmy, for her cooperation and support by being part of the Business Mission which visited Ecomondo- Key Energy 2022.

The Alexandria Business Association, in presence of Eng. Ashraf Noseir, Head of the Energy Committee, participated in Ecomondo – Key Energy by organizing an Egyptian delegation of the association members to visit the international event in Rimini to know the latest technologies in renewables sector.

It has been agreed with some of the large participating companies to access the Egyptian market by the support of Alexandria Business Association. Besides, Eng. Ashraf Noseir met the Egyptian Embassy officials on the margin of Africa Green Growth event.

During the visit, a cooperation protocol between Alexandria Business Association and the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) has been agreed to promote the participation of the association members in the upcoming editions of Ecomondo and Key Energy.

The Alexandria Business Association representatives presented the shield of the association to the responsible of Incoming Project in the International Buyers Account.

CCI-Egypt would like to thank the Chamber of Chemical Industries which participated in the Business Mission in presence of Eng. Diaa Hamza, Executive Director of CCI. The Chamber of Chemical Industries organized a group of 13 companies to visit Ecomondo – Key Energy having the objective of knowing the most advanced technologies in various specializations of chemical and plastic industries and to find out new opportunities of cooperation between Egyptian and Italian companies.

CCI-Egypt would thank Mr Ashraf Salama, Head of the Electrical Equipment Section of Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, who participated in Ecomondo – Key Energy by organizing a business delegation of 5 companies to explore the latest technologies in renewable energy sector, smart cities and buildings, and advanced lighting systems for energy efficiency.
