The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Egypt is so pleased and honored to participate in Ecomondo fair in Rimini, Italy, 7-10 November 2023, by organizing an Egyptian Delegation of Buyers and Visitors of more than 50 companies interested to discover advanced technologies and meet international companies gathered to share experience and innovation

Ecomondo is the reference international event in Europe and the Mediterranean basin for technologies, services and industrial solutions in the green and circular economy sectors. A hub for research and innovation, it hosts the leading companies in environmental services, solutions and technologies, covering water management, waste disposal, bioenergy, soil management and protection, transport, agriculture and sustainable cities.

Ecomondo’s mission is to guide ecological transition since it’s one of the most important international events in the world in green and circular economy. The four pillars of Ecomondo: 1 management and valorisation of waste and its transformation into a second raw material; 2 circular bio-economy and bio-energy; 3 treatment and management of water resources; 4 reclamation and redevelopment of contaminated and disused industrial sites and hydro-geological risk. From large machinery for metal recovery to digital control solutions for distributing water; from technologies for regenerating soil and degraded industrial sites to 3D printers powered by bioplastics.

The Egyptian Delegation of visitors is featured by the significant presence of prestigious and official entities and associations in Egypt: chamber of Engineering Industries, chamber of Chemical Industries and the Egyptian Plastic Exporters & Manufacturers Association (EPEMA). Their presence added a unique and dynamic dimension to the event, showcasing Egypt's commitment to environmental responsibility, sustainability and innovation. The Egyptian companies discussed Egypt's strides in green technologies and eco-friendly initiatives. From renewable energy solutions to waste management innovations.

CCI Egypt presented a comprehensive display that highlighted the nation's dedication to a greener future.

What stood out was CCI-Egypt commitment to foster international partnerships. The networking opportunities provided by their participation at Ecomondo opened doors for potential collaborations and shared initiatives in the global pursuit of a sustainable and eco-conscious economy. The CCI-Egypt contribution in Ecomondo was not just about bringing Egyptian companies to visit the fair, it was a powerful statement about Egypt's dedication to environmental responsibility on the global stage.
