Ecomondo: The leading exhibition of Green Economy and Sustainability

Ecomondo 2024 is just a few months away and we are getting ready for an unprecedented edition: many exhibitors have confirmed their attendance at the show, which is almost sold out. 

The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Egypt has the honor to announce that we are organizing an Egyptian delegation to visit Ecomondo in collaboration with IEG Italian Exhibition Group.

Ecomondo continues to grow, attracting more and more companies, including many from abroad, reflecting the positive trend in Italian exports that now top EUR 600 billion, with sustainability as a driving force.

The exhibition area will continue to be themed by sector:

>> Waste as Resource
>> Water Cycle & Blue Economy
>> Bio-Energy & Agriculture
>> Circular and Regenerative Bio-Economy
>> Site & Soils Restoration
>> Environmental Monitoring and Earth Observation


Alongside these are the vertical districts that are being developed and expanded. In particular, the Textile District hosts an exhibition and conference area focused on eco-design, organic waste management, ERP, EOW as well as second-hand, digital passports and green washing.

The Paper District hosts, in a single hall, all the players in the supply chain and focuses on a new and increasingly rich content offer defined together with Federazione Carta & Grafica.

The Blue Economy district has been expanded and encompasses the fishing and energy industry, desalinators, regeneration of marine environments as well as manufacturers of electrolysers and energy carrier plants.

Finally, the area is completed with a new addition dedicated to the city created in partnership with GBC Italia: Circular and Healthy City

Not only more companies, but also more space, with fairgrounds and a show that is growing by incorporating two new temporary halls located at the east entrance, covering a total area of 137,000 square metres.
