Established in 1927, the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Egypt (CCIE) is legally recognized by the Italian Government under art. 10 of Law no. 518 of July 1, 1970 (Official MIMIT CCIE Roll), operating as an accredited institution within the Assocamerestero network.

Our Vision
To be the institutional reference and strategic bridge between Italy and Egypt across the Mediterranean. Building on nearly a century of history, the Chamber looks to an economic partnership founded on industrial innovation, technology transfer, energy sustainability and human capital. Our goal is to connect Italian manufacturing excellence with Egypt's growth: not only a destination market, but a manufacturing, logistics and energy platform towards the Middle East and Africa.
Our Mission
To promote, facilitate and protect commercial, industrial and investment relations between Italian and Egyptian companies, through qualified support and the Chamber's institutional mediation. We do so by guiding companies through customs and regulatory requirements, such as Nafeza/ACI, GOEIC registration and due diligence; by fostering industrial partnerships, joint ventures and investment, including in special economic zones such as the SCZone; by organising B2B meetings with verified counterparts and delegations to the main trade fairs in Italy and Egypt; and by ensuring dialogue between companies and institutions, under the aegis of the Embassy of Italy in Cairo, with MIMIT and the Assocamerestero network.
Our History: A Century of Shared Growth
Founded in Cairo in 1927, the Chamber operates under the aegis of the Embassy of Italy in Cairo.
From the first exchanges of the 1920s to today's major projects in energy, infrastructure and manufacturing, it has accompanied leading Italian and Egyptian companies.
Today it combines this tradition with market intelligence, customs support, due diligence and B2B matchmaking.
Governance & Organizational Structure
The Chamber follows a democratic and transparent governance model, in line with its Statute. The General Assembly of Members elects the Board, made up of representatives of Italian and Egyptian companies.
The President holds legal representation and sets the Chamber's direction; the Secretary General leads operations, staff and external relations.
