Karim Basyouni

Karim Basyouni was appointed Secretary General of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, with effect from September 2026. He is a highly accomplished business lecturer and advisor with deep expertise across Italian and Egyptian environments.

As an academic, he lectures in Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Management, and Sales, teaching at top business schools and universities in Cairo, Milan, and Rome, including ESLSCA Business School, LUM, ESE, Università Statale di Milano, and the American University in Cairo.

As a strategic consultant, he assists companies and startups in market entry, operational setup, and business planning. He is passionate about bridging the commercial communities of Italy and Egypt, developing educational programs and capacity-building tracks for managers and entrepreneurs in both directions.
